Joakim Stephenson

Joakim Stephenson is a Swedish dancer, choreographer and former soloist of the Royal Swedish Ballet. Now focusing on teaching and choreographing worldwide.

Joakim Stephenson is a Swedish dancer and choreographer born in Solna, Sweden. He began his dance education at the Royal Swedish Ballet School, graduating in 1991, and immediately joined the Royal Swedish Ballet the same year. Throughout his career, he has performed with companies such as Les Ballets de Monte Carlo and stockholm59°North. In 2007, he was appointed soloist with the Royal Swedish Ballet. After retiring from the stage in 2016, Stephenson has focused on choreography and teaching, contributing to various international projects.

In addition to his work as a répétiteur at the Estonian National Ballet, Gustavo Beserra Quintas actively mentors young dancers and stages productions, shaping the next generation of performers.
